Enrolling In The Maryland Prepaid College Trust Is As Easy As 1, 2, 3.

The most recent enrollment period for the Maryland Prepaid College Trust ended on April 4, 2008.  Applications are currently only being accepted for newborns under one year of age and current account holders who want to add additional semesters or years.  It is likely that the next enrollment period for the Maryland Prepaid College Trust will begin on December 1, 2008.

Follow these simple steps and you’re on your way to having a plan:

1. Please read the entire Enrollment Kit before deciding to enroll.
2. Choose a tuition plan for your desired number of semesters or years of college.
3. Choose the payment plan that best fits your family’s budget.

Enroll Online. Online enrollment requires a credit card for the enrollment fee(s). Please note that credit cards cannot be used to make any other payments besides the enrollment fee(s).

OR

Enroll by completing and mailing a paper enrollment form. This form can be obtained by either:

1. Viewing the enrollment kit online and printing the enrollment form; or
2. Requesting an enrollment kit by mail which includes an enrollment form.

Here’s the fine print:
You must enroll during an enrollment period unless your child is under 1 year old or you are purchasing additional years of tuition for a child that you have already enrolled. For the 2007-2008 enrollment period, online enrollments must be completed and submitted by April 4, 2008. If enrolling by mail, your enrollment must be postmarked by April 4, 2008.
